The Gift of Gratitude
Its been my greatest savior, my biggest asset and most treasured gift, to have gratitude in life, for all that I have…above all else that may have failed. All of my most influential mentors along the way have taught me this very value, to be in a state of gratitude in order to transform any struggle on the road to self evolution and mastery. I’ve been blessed to find some of the most powerful leaders as my inspiration to awaken the life within and align my focus with that which brings me fulfillment.
I have found that it is the gratitude within our hearts that brings us to life like nothing else, out of the focus that lies in the direction of the most meaningful and purpose driven aspects of ourselves. Early this year I had the honour of sharing my book with Dr John Demartini, who has had an incredible impact on my life, through the understanding of how to find the blessing and purpose in all things. It is through this that I have been able to uncover the hidden order in each of my experiences through life, that has empowered me with the healing mastery to move beyond misperception and pain.

Throughout my journey of ups and downs, highs and lows, I have discovered that the gratitude in my heart has given me wealth beyond measure and the power to overcome the mindset of any struggle and suffering, grief or depression. Any trauma that I have faced, I have been instantly able to set free through the power of appreciation. Purely in the moment of clarity, I have been able to reach deep within and find the purpose in any event that has caused me to be challenged emotionally or mentally.
What has allowed me to do so, is a knowing that freedom from suffering lies in, not just the “letting go or acceptance”, but the “owning of”, and the appreciation in knowing how that very experience or event “served” me. The power that I have found this to give me as well as others, is the ability to celebrate life and love each and every aspect of it, in it’s perfection of balance in being the learning journey it is. For the lessons that are hard to learn, I find these are the ones that we truly earn…and make us capable of so much more than ever dreamed as possible, without the challenge.
I have come to believe that our set backs are merely the disguise of the arching bows that pull us back before we are set free and propel us forward with fierce determination, to reveal what we are capable of and how far we can really go.
The one truth that has become crystal clear to me throughout my colourful journey, is that there is an undeniable force behind gratitude that causes all obstacles in it’s path to dissolve instantly through the piercing gaze of the heart. The gift of gratitude has been my own greatest savior in setting myself free beyond belief to own my hearts joy… shattering all illusion of dis-empowerment and suffering.
It has become apparent to me, through repetitive awakenings along the way, that our suffering is only ever due to the lack of ability to cut through the lie within our mind that our life’s circumstances, seemingly outside of our control, are beyond meaning. When we realise that everything serves us no matter how, we can begin to see why each experience is a gift to be loved and nurtured for the potential it is to help us grow wiser, stronger, clearer and more certain of our purpose in life.
