As we enter the month of the Yin fire Rooster on the 7th of September also, we can experience heightened “sensitivities” – associated with these ‘characters’. During Metal animal (Rooster) months, it’s the best time to “cut” back the overgrowth.
Clear out clutter, space clear, use rituals, aromatherapy, music (vibrational / fire medicine / modalities). Let go and breathe through any grief (metal emotions). The ultimate way to do this is to simply “allow” those feelings to move through you and just let yourself experience and witness them.
I find these are the moments of deep, fulfilling self recognition, honour and compassion that we gain so much assurance and strength from!
This month is a 7 in Flying Star Feng Shui. This means the 7 is our central number/energy for the month beginning on the 7th. What this means in Chinese metaphysics (Traditional Feng Shui) is…
There can be incredible chatter, cluttering our mind. So it becomes important now to balance this with meditation in order to maintain peaceful presence and perspective. It’s a month of “scandals” coming to surface. I’m sure this does not surprise most of us!
7 also relates to the “mouth”… so we may (let us pray), have some further clarity around what has been “masked” for so long now (pun intended). Being the Rooster month, which is the metal element… this month will have a significant impact on the “lung” organ.
Breathing becomes of vital importance as the ‘virus’ and it’s global management, has brought so much anxiety, no matter which way you see it! Be it from the virus or the response and it’s huge global destruction. It’s vital now that we BREATHE and keep moving!
This may mean switching off and tuning out in order to light up the soul and tune into the inner wisdom that only shines when we have the insight to do so!
So, this month… clear your surroundings, mentally, emotionally and physically. Protect your space in all domains and dimensions. It’s time to connect spiritually and turn down the volume on the external distractions, designed to direct your behaviour.
For only YOU know what is true and RIGHT for you! Do not let the prejudice or judgment of ANYONE distract you from your higher calling and purpose.
Be selective in how you spend your energy and time and give back to the body that you call home. Be present. Practice Yoga and restore the strength needed to emerge from one of the most challenging times we have experienced in generations!
